Attic activity often affects more than the attic

Prolonged wildlife activity in an attic can displace, compress or tunnel through insulation and leave nesting material behind. Where that happens, insulation removal and installation may be part of returning the space to condition.

How do I know what animal is in my attic?
The combination of sound, timing, droppings, damage and entry location usually narrows it down. No single sign is conclusive on its own, which is why an inspection matters.
What animals commonly get into homes?
Mice, rats, bats, squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs, skunks and opossums are the species Little Wolf handles, and each uses a structure differently.
Can wildlife get through small openings?
Many species can use surprisingly small gaps, and some can enlarge an existing opening. Size alone is not a reliable indicator that an area is secure.
Why does wildlife keep coming back?
If an access point or attractive shelter area remains available, the structure can stay usable to wildlife. Addressing the structural side is often part of the answer.
What is the difference between wildlife removal and exclusion?
Removal addresses the animal currently using the structure. Exclusion addresses the openings and vulnerable areas that allowed access in the first place.
Can animals damage a house?
Wildlife activity can affect vents, soffits, trim, wiring, ductwork and insulation, depending on the species and how long the activity has continued.
Should I close an entry hole if I know an animal is inside?
Sealing an active access point without understanding what wildlife is present can create additional problems, including trapped animals and further damage. The appropriate approach depends on the species and the situation.
